About the track

Silverstone was the first track to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix as part of the first World Championship in 1950. This historical track in Nothamptonshire offers 5.8 kilometers of tarmac and 18 corners. Due to it's combination of corners, this circuit is quite technical with very little heavy braking. Good downforce is crucial here to optimize these corner combinations.
