Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup

The pinnacle of Porsche Cup racing

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is the pinnacle of the international Porsche one-make series. The best Porsche Cup drivers from national and regional championships around the world step up to this level to fight for the world title.

Every race is held as part of a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend, making the series one of the most visible and desirable categories in Porsche Motorsport. With identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars on the grid, it all comes down to the driver, the team and the smallest details. The result: hard, door-to-door battles, close racing and a level of competition that has pushed the global popularity of the Supercup to new heights in recent years.

Team GP Elite has been on the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup grid with a five-car line-up since 2020. Since that debut season, the team has secured two overall titles, one rookie championship and one teams’ championship. On top of that, GP Elite finished runner-up twice in both the drivers’ and teams’ standings. It places Team GP Elite firmly and consistently among the absolute top teams in the Supercup.

Because the races are part of multiple European Formula 1 weekends, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is broadcast live worldwide on channels such as Eurosport, ESPN, Fox Sports and Sky Sports. In the Netherlands, Supercup races can be watched live via Viaplay, Ziggo Sport and F1 TV Pro. For partners and fans, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup with Team GP Elite offers a unique combination of top-level Porsche Motorsport, maximum international exposure and pure racing experience.

Team GP Elite

Since 2020, the intensive preparation, data-driven approach and close cooperation between drivers, engineers and partners have clearly paid off. Multiple titles, followed by two vice-championships in 2022 and 2023, have only strengthened the team’s drive to keep pushing this performance level long term.

With a refreshed driver line-up, Team GP Elite will fight for the championship in 2026 and continue building its future in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

Team GP Elite is proud to have earned the trust of drivers, partners and the series organisation to run additional cars on the grid. In a championship where entries are limited, lining up with five Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars is something special. It allows more drivers to race and grow at the highest level within the Porsche Supercup.

Alongside the full-season entries, the team also fields guest cars – an ideal way for ambitious racing drivers to experience this globally visible championship and prepare for a full Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season.

E-fuels in the Supercup

Sustainability is becoming a key topic in motorsport, and rallying is no exception. One of the developments we follow closely is the transition to e-fuels in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup.

Since 2021, all cars in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup have been running on a renewable biofuel, largely produced from food waste. From the 2024 season onwards, the next step has been taken: the introduction of a completely new e-fuel from the Haru Oni project in Chile. Using wind energy, green hydrogen is produced on site. Combined with CO₂ captured from the atmosphere, this forms methanol. When this methanol is blended into a fuel that meets current road-car gasoline specifications, it can deliver an estimated 85% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

For us at Team GP Elite, this is an important step towards CO₂-neutral motorsport and a clear example of how performance and sustainability go hand in hand within Porsche Motorsport. We’re already looking forward to the further implementation and scaling of these e-fuels across the racing world.
