Team GP Elite 2025

Porsche Carrera Cup Germany

The backbone of Porsche Cup racing

The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland is one of the longest-standing and most respected Porsche one-make Cup series in the world. For more than 30 years, this championship has kept its appeal and continues to be a benchmark within Porsche Motorsport.

What once started as an extension of Porsche Club Sport events has grown into the foundation for the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and countless other Carrera Cup championships worldwide. Today, it is the ideal platform for talented drivers with serious ambitions – and for those who want to climb the complete GP Elite Autosportladder.

Race weekends are major crowd events, often part of prestigious international race meetings and far from limited to Germany alone. Wheel-to-wheel sprint races are driven at the absolute limit; every mistake costs positions immediately, and strong performances never go unnoticed. Within Team GP Elite, a true high-performance mindset matches the level and intensity of this championship perfectly.

For spectators, it is close racing in its purest form. The grid is highly competitive, packed with drivers who are evenly matched. The split between Pro and Pro-Am allows rising young talent – for example from karting – and highly driven gentleman drivers to measure themselves against the very best. That makes the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland a logical and highly valuable step for anyone looking to take their racing career to the next level.

All drivers race the Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup, which can be purchased through GP Elite and prepared and run by our engineering department. This legendary Porsche 911 Cup car is the most successful and most produced race car in the world.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland is therefore both a serious test for every driver and an essential stepping stone for anyone aiming to progress further within Porsche Motorsport.

Teamwork

In the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Team GP Elite drivers are supported at a true high-performance level all weekend long. A dedicated team of race engineers, data and video analysts, and driver coaches work together continuously to extract the maximum from both driver and Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup. All data and lap times are analysed and compared in detail to find the optimal set-up for every session and every condition.

Between sessions, each driver receives targeted coaching based on telemetry and onboard footage. Every run is used to drive faster, more consistently and with smarter racecraft. Meanwhile, the mechanics ensure that the Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup is in perfect technical condition and capable of delivering top performance in all circumstances.

Within Team GP Elite, a pure elite-sport mentality is combined with a warm, accessible atmosphere in the pit box.
