Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East

About the series

In the Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East you step straight into circuits that fire the imagination: the iconic Yas Marina Circuit and the Bahrain International Circuit. As part of the Formula 1 weekend in Bahrain, this Porsche one-make series enjoys a unique stage within international Porsche Motorsport.

For drivers who want to keep building race mileage between November and March, this championship is ideal. A perfect winter climate, worldclass infrastructure and demanding layouts that force you to keep raising the bar. Exactly what you need to maintain your race rhythm and sharpen your racecraft.

Ahead of every race weekend, Team GP Elite organises one or two extensive test days. Essential to collect data, refine the set-up and arrive fully prepared in a highly competitive international field.

You compete in one of three classes: Pro, Pro-Am or Am (Gentlemen). All in identical Porsche 992 GT3 Cup cars. The races are short, intense and unforgiving: one mistake can mean losing several positions. The intensity is high; the learning curve even higher.

With GP Elite’s Arrive & Drive concept, you simply step into a perfectly prepared Porsche 992 GT3 Cup that is already on-site. You focus purely on performance. We take care of everything around it.

Keep your flow

On every race weekend, a full team of engineers, data and video analysts, and driver coaches is ready to support each Team GP Elite driver.

All data, lap times and sector analysis are compared and fed back immediately. This close collaboration behind the scenes helps us find the optimal set-up and turn every session into progress. Meanwhile, our mechanics make sure the car performs at the highest level in every condition.

Between sessions, every driver receives targeted coaching based on data and onboard video. This approach is driven by a high-performance mindset and deep experience within Porsche Motorsport. It’s the foundation of our results: team titles in 2020 and 2024, Pro-Am titles for Jesse van Kuijk (2020), Lucas Groeneveld (2021) and Sören Spreng (2024), plus the Am title for Jan Dobber (2022).

Those achievements, combined with the family-like atmosphere within Team GP Elite, create a professional racing environment where every driver feels confident to push limits and keep growing.
