Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux

About the series

The Porsche Sprint Challenge is beautiful platform within Porsche Motorsport. It enables drivers to make the transition from driving Trackdays to racing in a class with similar cars. Races take place during weekdays and each round takes place as a one-day event. This way drivers get a lot of track time, without having to give up much of their time. This championship is Porsche only and is aimed specifically at both rookie and gentleman drivers. Young talents can take their first steps in Porsche racing, providing them with the perfect setting to develop, while gentleman drivers can perfectly combine this championship with work and family. Additionally, Trackday drivers can enjoy 4,5 hours of track time in between the sessions of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux. Porsche hospitality will be available the entire day, providing high quality catering.

The championship consists of five one-day events, of which two will be held in Belgium and three in the Netherlands. Every round offers 150 minutes of track time. The program consists of a 60 minute free practice, 35 minute qualifying and 2 races of 30 minutes each. All rounds take place during weekdays, so drivers don’t need to spend weekends away from home and costs are minimized.

Taking part in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux can be done with a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup, Porsche 991 GT3 Cup, or the Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport (Gen 1 and 2). Drivers can take part in their own car, which will be run by Team GP Elite. Additionally, there is an option to rent a Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport Gen 2 and take part in a round as a guest driver.

The team of mechanics makes sure the car is always running optimally under all circumstances. Between sessions, the driver will receive feedback from his coach using relevant data. Team GP Elite has access to reference times and data of drivers such as Larry ten Voorde, Max van Splunteren and Kevin Abbring.

Team GP Elite offers the possibility of inviting sponsors and other relations to the Porsche hospitality during each round. This way they can experience the action from up close and cheer on the driver, all while enjoying Porsche quality hospitality.
