About the track
The combination of high speed and slower technical sections makes the Hockenheimring an ideal circuit for testing. The original circuit was redesigned in 2002 by the famous designer Hermann Tilke. Throughout the years, this circuit hosted major championships such as the Formula 1, MotoGP and 24H Series. In 2023, the DTM is again amongst the major events held at the Hockenheimring.
