Team GP Elite, Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux 2023

Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux

About the series

The race weekends of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux are usually large public events. This class has been part of the FIA WEC at Spa Francorchamps, the DTM and Blancpain GT for years. There is a top sports mentality in the team. In 2019 Max van Splunteren took the title with Team GP Elite! In 2020 Morris Schuring became vice-champion and in 2021 gentleman driver Floris Dullaart became Pro-Am champion! In the coming years we want to continue these successes.

Sprint races are driven on the cutting edge. Every mistake almost always costs a few places. Close racing is guaranteed as it is a very competitive grid with well-matched drivers. There are three classes, Pro, Pro-Am and Am. It is an ideal concept for racing talent to enter from karting or other Cup classes. Very competitive Gentlemen drivers feel equally at home.

In the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux we race the new Porsche 992 GT3 Cup. GP Elite helps drivers to acquire and run these cars. This legendary Porsche 911 has no equal and is the most successful and most built racing car in the world. With a low weight of 1260 kg and 510 hp, the Cup version is a real test to drive. There are also no auxiliary systems such as ABS or traction control on the car, it is pure racing. It is therefore not without reason that it is the fastest sprint championship in the Benelux.

Teamwork

Drivers of Team GP Elite get support by experienced engineers, data and video analysts and driver coaches. Data and lap times will be analyzed and compared. The right settings will be found through this beautiful interplay behind the scenes. The team of mechanics ensures the car performs at its best under all circumstances.

Between the races a driver receives coaching based on data and video. Within Team GP Elite there is a top sport mentality - which led to the championships of various drivers in 2019, 2020 and 2021 - and that, combined with the family atmosphere within Team GP Elite, is a perfect and pleasant environment for every driver to develop furthermore.
